Shabbos Recipes: Children-Friendly too!

Enjoy the pictures of all the dishes

We all have no end of Shabbos recipes to show off, but when you have lots of kids coming for Shabbos, the question narrows down to, what Shabbos recipes are the most children-friendly? Of course, no need to make all Shabbos recipes suitable for children, just as long as some basic Shabbos recipes on your table are popular with the junior crowd, you’ll be covered and you’ll get no end of kiddie hugs and kisses, which is ample reward for my good work.

Several of the older kids surprised me very pleasantly by trying – and loving – some of the grown-up stuff, so, Rah-Rah!

Here is the best part about my Shabbos Recipes:

All dishes were easy and not fussy, and as always with me, super healthy. They were also pretty economical.

I am including all the Shabbos recipes we served, for all kids big and small.

Some dishes have no recipes, just because they are so straightforward. You’ll get a kick out of my utilitarian trick with Swiss Chard: I used the leaves in the tajine, and the ribs in a salad. My CCC are a must, so there are in, plus my new dessert star, born just last week: Vegan Cheesecake with Peanut Butter Filling and Chocolate Topping. Enjoy!
