If I am not mistaken, the fruit you have pictured in this great sounding recipe look like what I have bought in China Town as rambutans.  The lychees I have bought have skins similar to chermoiyas and are greenish-brown.   They both taste very similar, sweet, juicy and yummy.]]></description>
